Coil 3506k 120 Cable Lock

Bike theft is a genuine concern across Indian cities — from Pune apartment complexes and Delhi office parks to Hyderabad tech campuses and Chennai street-side cafe stops. The Abus Coil 3506k 120 Cable Lock offers a practical, everyday security layer for cyclists who need a reliable, flexible cable lock that can be looped around frames, wheels, and fixed structures with ease.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

At Rs. 975, the Abus Coil 3506k 120 is a sensible secondary lock for urban Indian riders. The coil design stretches to reach bike racks and railings without excess slack, making it ideal for apartment parking bays in Pune or office racks in Hyderabad. For metro commuters, we recommend pairing it with a quality U-lock for the frame — this cable handles wheel and accessory security capably at this price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a cable lock, not apparel — sizing here refers to reach and application. The 120cm coil length is well suited for most Indian bike rack configurations, including the narrow parallel racks common in Mumbai and Delhi offices. Ensure the loop passes through the frame and at least one wheel when locking. No body measurements required.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with road and hybrid bikes. The coil cable loops around standard frame tubing and quick-release wheels. Works alongside U-locks and chain locks as part of a layered security setup. The key-operated mechanism requires no batteries or charging — a clear advantage in India's variable conditions. All Abus products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

For a complete security setup, consider pairing with a quality U-lock or chain lock for primary frame security, a saddle leash or seat clamp lock, a helmet carrier loop, and a wall-mounted anchor bracket for home or office parking bays.
