Combiflex Travelguard Lock

Bike theft is a genuine concern across Indian cities — from apartment parking in Pune and Hyderabad to office racks in Delhi and Chennai. The Abus Combiflex Travelguard Lock offers a combination-code security solution designed for cyclists who want reliable, key-free protection without compromising on portability or ease of use during daily stops. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders navigating metro commutes, café stops, or weekend rides in Ahmedabad and Kolkata, the Combiflex Travelguard is a practical, no-fuss lock. The combination mechanism removes the worry of lost keys — a real advantage in India's heat and monsoon humidity where metal keys and keyholes can corrode over time. It's well suited to lower-risk, shorter-duration parking situations where you need speed and convenience.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a lock, so conventional clothing or shoe sizing does not apply. What matters here is cable or shackle length relative to your bike frame and the fixing point you're locking to. Measure the distance between your frame and the rack or railing before buying. For bikes with larger tube profiles common on modern road and gravel builds, confirm the lock loop accommodates your frame diameter.

Compatibility Notes

The Combiflex Travelguard is a general-use combination lock compatible with all standard bicycle frame types. No installation tools are required. Suitable for both road and mountain bikes. Rinse the mechanism after monsoon rides and avoid submerging in standing water for extended periods to maintain combination integrity.

Pairs Well With

For complete bike security, consider pairing this lock with a secondary U-lock or chain lock for your rear wheel, a saddle leash or seatpost collar, a handlebar bag to carry the lock on longer rides, and a wall-mount anchor for home or office storage.
