Comete Track DISC Wheel

The Mavic Comete Track DISC Wheel is a carbon performance wheelset engineered for track-derived precision and speed. Built around a precision hub with optimised bearing placement for smooth rolling, and paired with disc brake compatibility, this is a serious investment for riders who demand responsiveness, lateral stiffness, and aerodynamic efficiency on every kilometre — from velodrome-smooth tarmac to challenging road surfaces.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

At Rs. 2,70,999, the Comete Track DISC sits firmly in elite territory — and it earns that price tag. For riders tackling fast flat stretches on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway or seeking race-day speed, disc brake stopping power combined with a precision-built carbon wheel is a genuine performance advantage. India's heat and road variety make wheel stiffness and reliable bearing engagement non-negotiable; this Mavic delivers on both counts.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheel sizing here is about compatibility, not body fit. Confirm your frame's axle standard (QR or thru-axle dimensions), disc brake rotor mount type (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body before ordering. Track-derived geometry suits riders comfortable with a stiffer, more direct ride feel — factor this in for longer Indian road rides in heat above 35°C.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc brake use — confirm rotor mount standard (Centerlock or 6-bolt) matches your caliper and rotor. Verify axle standard precisely before ordering. Carbon rim construction requires appropriate brake setup; use torque specs during installation. Check Mavic's recommended service intervals for bearing maintenance, especially after monsoon riding when water and grit accelerate wear.

Pairs Well With

Complete this build with high-performance road or track tyres matched to the rim width, quality tubeless sealant and valve kit if running tubeless, a calibrated torque wrench for carbon-safe installation, and disc brake rotors of the correct mount standard and rotor diameter.
