Cosmic Elite Ust DISC Wheelset

Indian roads demand a lot from a wheelset — one moment you're pressing hard on Pune's expressway, the next you're navigating a monsoon-softened patch on the way to Lonavala. The Mavic Cosmic Elite UST DISC Wheelset is built to handle exactly this kind of variety, pairing a disc-brake platform with Mavic's UST tubeless technology for a setup that rewards both speed-focused riders and those who simply want confidence across unpredictable surfaces.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

At Rs. 93,750, this is a serious investment — and it earns it. Mavic's UST standard means a genuinely airtight tubeless setup without the fuss, which matters when you're descending Khandala in heat above 35°C and need consistent grip and feel. The disc-brake platform suits modern frames and delivers confident stopping power whether you're on Pune's expressway or a Coorg gravel track. For riders ready to feel a real difference in how their bike rolls, this delivers it.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit depends on three things: frame axle standard (QR or thru-axle), brake interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt disc), and cassette body compatibility (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). India's heat does not directly affect fit, but running tubeless with sealant is strongly recommended — sealant self-seals the small punctures common on Indian roads and reduces blowout risk in high temperatures.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc-brake frames only — not compatible with rim-brake forks or frames. Confirm your axle standard and cassette body before ordering. UST tubeless-ready rims work best with UST or tubeless-compatible tyres, tubeless valves, and quality sealant. Rim tape is typically pre-installed on Mavic UST wheels; verify before converting.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with a set of tubeless road or gravel tyres sized for your frame's clearance, a high-quality tubeless sealant, disc brake rotors in your preferred standard (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and a calibrated torque wrench for safe thru-axle installation.
