Cross Road

The Bastion Cross Road is a bespoke titanium and carbon gravel frameset built for riders who refuse to compromise. Combining the fatigue-dampening character of titanium with the precision of carbon, this is a frame made to order — shaped around your riding, not a catalogue size. For India's varied terrain, from Coorg forest trails to the Leh plateau, this is a serious machine.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Few frames on the Indian market arrive as genuinely bespoke as the Bastion Cross Road. The titanium and carbon construction handles the punishment of rough Ghat descents, waterlogged Pune backroads, and sustained Ooty climbs without the harshness of a pure carbon frame. At Rs. 14,90,000, this is an investment in a frame you'll ride for a decade — selected for Indian conditions where material resilience matters as much as weight.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bastion builds to order, so sizing here is genuinely personal. Indian riders tend toward shorter torso lengths relative to inseam — communicate this to Cobbled Climbs when specifying your build. In Hyderabad and Chennai heat above 35°C, a slightly more upright position reduces fatigue on long rides. Always request a professional bike fit before confirming your geometry sheet.

Compatibility Notes

The Cross Road is designed for modern gravel standards — confirm bottom bracket type, headset spec, and brake mount format before specifying components. Tyre clearance suits wider gravel rubber ideal for Indian mixed-surface riding. Contact Cobbled Climbs' build team to verify groupset and wheel compatibility before placing your pre-order.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Cross Road build with a quality gravel groupset, a durable wheelset suited to mixed terrain, a gravel-specific cockpit and bar setup, and wide-volume tyres with puncture protection for Indian road surfaces. Cobbled Climbs stocks all categories needed for a full build.
