D5 48mm Carbon DISC Wheelset

India's roads demand wheels that earn their place on every ride — from the silky tarmac of the Delhi-Jaipur expressway to the battered climbs above Lonavala. The Oneaer D5 48mm Carbon DISC Wheelset pairs a deep aerodynamic profile with disc-brake precision, making it a compelling choice for performance riders who want speed on the flats and confidence on descents. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

The 48mm carbon rim depth sits in a sweet spot for Indian conditions: aero enough to deliver real speed gains on flat stretches around Pune and Chennai, yet manageable in the crosswinds you encounter on Western Ghat climbs and coastal roads near Kochi. Disc braking means consistent stopping in monsoon-wet conditions where rim brakes lose confidence. For riders investing seriously in performance, this wheelset shifts how the bike feels from the first pedal stroke.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit is about three compatibility checks, not body sizing. Confirm your frame's axle standard (thru-axle dimensions or QR), your brake interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt disc), and your cassette body (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). Indian summers above 35°C do not affect carbon rim integrity on disc-brake wheels — no heat build-up from braking friction that concerns rim-brake carbon rims.

Compatibility Notes

The D5 is a disc-specific wheelset — confirm your frame and fork accept disc rotors before ordering. Verify axle dimensions precisely; thru-axle sizes vary between forks and rear dropouts. The tubeless-ready construction requires tubeless-compatible tyres, valve stems, and sealant — none are included. Use a calibrated torque wrench on rotor bolts and axle end-caps to manufacturer specification.

Pairs Well With

Complete the build with a set of tubeless road or gravel tyres matched to the rim's internal width, a quality tubeless sealant, alloy or titanium valve stems, and disc brake rotors in your preferred standard. A track pump with pressure gauge rounds out the tubeless setup for Indian roads.
