Description

The Bikone Dctech BB86-92 Ceramic SRAM DUB Bottom Bracket is a precision-engineered component built for riders who demand smooth power transfer and long service intervals. Designed for BB86/BB92 shell standards and paired specifically with SRAM DUB cranks, it brings ceramic bearing technology to Indian road and trail riding at a competitive price point. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

Ceramic bearings make a genuine difference on India's long climbs — think the Ghats above Pune, the ascents around Ooty, or grinding through Leh's altitude. Lower rolling resistance means more of your effort reaches the rear wheel. In Mumbai's humidity and Chennai's coastal salt air, ceramic bearings also resist corrosion better than standard steel, making the Rs. 20,000 price tag a sound long-term investment for serious riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This bottom bracket fits BB86 and BB92 press-fit shell standards — common on many mid-to-high-end road and gravel frames. It is designed exclusively for SRAM DUB cranksets; it will not accept Shimano or older SRAM GXP spindles. Before ordering, measure your frame's bottom bracket shell width and confirm your crankset is DUB-compatible. If unsure, share your frame model with the Cobbled Climbs team.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with BB86 and BB92 press-fit frame shells paired with SRAM DUB cranksets across road, gravel, and mountain disciplines. Not compatible with Shimano, Campagnolo, or SRAM GXP spindles. Professional press-fit installation is strongly recommended to avoid shell damage. Ceramic bearings benefit from periodic regreasing, especially after monsoon riding or dusty Rajasthan and Deccan plateau conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup by pairing this bottom bracket with a quality SRAM DUB crankset, a ceramic-compatible bearing grease, a precision torque wrench for installation, and a chain wear indicator tool to protect your investment over long Indian riding seasons.

Fitting

This bottom bracket is not sized by rider measurements — it is selected by frame shell standard and crankset spindle type.
