Dctech Bsa Ceramic Shimano Bottom Bracket

The Bikone Dctech BSA Ceramic Shimano Bottom Bracket is a precision-engineered component built for road cyclists who demand low friction and extended service life. Using ceramic bearing technology combined with a BSA threaded shell, it fits a wide range of road frames and pairs directly with Shimano cranksets — making it a practical upgrade for serious riders across India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

At Rs. 20,000, this is a considered investment, but ceramic bearings earn their place on Indian roads. The combination of heat from Delhi summers, humidity on Chennai coastal routes, and the grinding grit of Pune's training circuits puts standard steel bearings under real stress. Ceramic rolling elements shed contamination more efficiently, spin with less drag, and demand less frequent servicing — tangible advantages for riders logging consistent kilometres.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a BSA (English threaded, 68mm or 73mm shell) bottom bracket, not a press-fit unit. Before ordering, confirm your frame's shell standard — BSA is common on aluminium and steel road frames widely used in India. The bracket is designed for Shimano cranksets; verify spindle interface compatibility with your specific groupset generation (10, 11, or 12-speed) before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with BSA threaded frames (English thread) and Shimano cranksets. Suitable for road bikes; verify shell width (68mm or 73mm) against your frame spec. Professional installation is recommended — correct torque during threading prevents shell damage. Clean the shell threads and apply appropriate grease or anti-seize compound at installation. Re-check torque after initial break-in rides.

Pairs Well With
