Description

The Bikone Dctech T47 Internal Ceramic SRAM Dub Bottom Bracket is a precision-engineered drivetrain component built for riders who demand smooth, efficient power transfer. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats, sprinting through Pune's weekend rides, or logging training kilometres in Chennai's heat, this ceramic bottom bracket delivers consistent performance where it counts.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

Ceramic bearings are a genuine upgrade over steel for Indian conditions — they spin more freely, resist corrosion better during monsoon, and maintain performance through the dust and grit common on roads from Hyderabad to Lonavala. The T47 threaded standard is also a smart choice: it offers the large bearing diameter of press-fit designs without the creaking that plagues many press-fit frames on rough Indian tarmac. At Rs. 20,000, this is a considered purchase for serious riders who want fewer service interruptions and more watts to the road.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is not a size-dependent component, but compatibility is everything. Confirm your frame uses the T47 internal threaded shell standard before purchasing. Ensure your crankset uses SRAM DUB axle interface — this bottom bracket is specifically designed for DUB spindles and will not suit other axle standards. Compatible with mountain, road, and hybrid frames bearing T47 shells.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for frames with a T47 internal threaded bottom bracket shell and SRAM DUB cranksets. Works with 10, 11, and 12-speed SRAM groupsets. Materials include ceramic bearings, aluminium cups, and metal hardware. Professional installation is strongly recommended — proper torque on T47 threads is critical for long-term reliability. Clean and inspect bearings pre- and post-monsoon for best service life.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain build by pairing this bottom bracket with a quality SRAM DUB-compatible crankset, a high-performance chain suited to your groupset speed, a reliable chain lubricant formulated for Indian monsoon and dust, and a torque wrench for correct installation. Available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery above Rs. 2,500 and cash on delivery across India.

Fitting

This is a fitment-critical component rather than a sized item. Before ordering, verify two things: first, that your frame has a T47 internally threaded bottom bracket shell — this is distinct from press-fit standards such as BB86 or PF30; second, that your crankset uses the SRAM DUB spindle standard. DUB is not compatible with GXP or other SRAM axle formats. If you are unsure of your frame's bottom bracket shell standard, check the frame manufacturer's documentation or consult the Cobbled Climbs team before purchasing.

The Story Behind The Brand
