Dctech T47 Internal Shimano Bottom Bracket

The Bikone Dctech T47 Internal Shimano Bottom Bracket is a precision-engineered component built for riders who demand consistency from their drivetrain. Using the T47 threaded standard with internal bearing placement, it pairs specifically with Shimano cranksets and suits both road and mountain builds — a reliable choice for Indian riders covering high-wear terrain year-round.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

For riders grinding up the Western Ghats, tackling the dust of Delhi's outskirts, or logging endurance kilometres on Pune's broken tarmac, a quality bottom bracket is the component you never notice — until it fails. The Bikone Dctech T47 delivers smooth, consistent crank rotation in aluminium and metal construction that holds up against India's humidity and grit. At Rs. 20,000, this is a serious investment that pays back in longer service intervals and fewer mid-ride headaches.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The T47 standard refers to your frame's bottom bracket shell threading — confirm your frame accepts T47 before ordering. This is not a clothing size; fit here means frame compatibility. Shimano crankset compatibility must also be verified by your groupset generation (10, 11, or 12-speed). Indian riders running varied frame brands should double-check with their local mechanic or contact Cobbled Climbs before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for T47 threaded bottom bracket shells with internal bearing placement. Compatible with Shimano cranksets across road and mountain groupsets — verify your specific generation (10/11/12-speed). Material is aluminium and metal. Professional installation is recommended; T47 threading requires correct torque to seat bearings properly and avoid premature wear, especially in humid conditions like Chennai or Kolkata during monsoon.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup by pairing this bottom bracket with a compatible Shimano crankset, a quality wet-condition chain lubricant for monsoon riding, a torque wrench for correct installation, and a chain wear indicator tool to protect your investment over the long term.
