Delta CRST GLS LEI Sunglasses

The Alba Optics Delta CRST GLS LEI Sunglasses are built for riders who demand optical clarity without compromise. Designed around a clean, sport-forward frame and paired with a high-contrast lens, these sunglasses are a serious choice for road cyclists and gravel riders tackling everything from Pune's Sinhagad climb to the hairpin bends above Ooty. At Rs. 19,900, they sit firmly in the performance eyewear tier — and they earn it.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are demanding: blinding midday glare on the Bangalore-Mysore highway, dust kicked up on gravel tracks near Ahmedabad, and the low-angle morning sun that turns Delhi's Ring Road into a squinting exercise. The Delta CRST GLS LEI addresses all of this with a wraparound fit and a lens that handles contrast variation well across changing light. The GLS LEI lens coating is particularly well suited to India's intense, high-UV environment. For serious cyclists who spend long hours in the saddle, this is eyewear that works as hard as you do.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Alba Optics frames follow European sport sizing conventions, which tend to run slightly wide compared to the average Indian facial structure. Riders with narrower or lower nose bridges may find the fit sits higher than expected. If possible, try the frame before purchasing. The Delta's wraparound geometry generally provides good coverage across a range of face shapes, and the lightweight construction reduces pressure during long rides in 35°C+ heat.

Compatibility Notes

The Delta CRST GLS LEI is compatible with standard cycling helmets — the slender frame profile fits easily under most helmet retention systems. The GLS LEI lens is not interchangeable in this configuration; handle with a microfibre pouch to protect the coating from scratches. Avoid leaving the frame in direct sun inside a car, as prolonged exposure to extreme heat can affect frame geometry over time.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with a well-ventilated road or gravel helmet for full sun protection, a moisture-wicking cycling cap for under-helmet use on long climbs, a high-SPF arm sleeve set for exposed skin on sunny rides, and a compact jersey pocket-sized lens cloth or case for on-the-go care.
