Demon

The Bastion Demon is not a catalogue frame. Built from a titanium and carbon construction, it is a bespoke, race-focused aero road frameset engineered for riders who demand precision in every aspect of their build. At Rs. 20,90,000, this is a declaration of intent — a frame designed around how you actually ride, not generic marketing categories.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Demon's titanium-plus-carbon construction is genuinely well-suited to Indian riding conditions. Titanium absorbs road vibration far better than alloy on the potholed descents of Lonavala or the rough tarmac stretches outside Hyderabad, while the aero carbon elements keep the frame competitive for criteriums or timed climbs up the Western Ghats. For serious riders in Pune, Delhi, or Chennai who want a once-in-a-decade frame, this earns its price.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bastion uses seat tube length or S/M/L sizing — consult their geometry chart using your inseam and torso length. Indian riders tend toward shorter torsos relative to height; check the reach figure carefully before ordering. In 35°C+ heat, a slightly more upright position reduces fatigue on long rides. Aero riding positions add strain — professional bike fit is strongly recommended before finalising your size.

Compatibility Notes

Verify bottom bracket standard (BSA, PF30, BB86, or T47), headset type, seatpost diameter, and brake mount type against your planned component group. As a bespoke pre-order frameset, confirm tyre clearance with Cobbled Climbs before specifying your wheel build. Disc-brake versions perform significantly better in monsoon conditions across India's wet-season roads.

Pairs Well With

Complete the Demon build with a high-performance electronic or mechanical groupset, a matched carbon wheelset selected for Indian road conditions, an aero or endurance cockpit suited to your fit, and quality finishing kit including bar tape, saddle, and a precision seatpost. Cobbled Climbs stocks all categories needed for a full build.
