Dimension 143

The Prologo Dimension 143 is a road saddle designed for riders who spend serious hours in the saddle. At 143mm wide, it sits in the performance-comfort middle ground — suited to riders with moderate sit-bone widths who want a saddle that handles everything from morning training loops to all-day rides through the Western Ghats or Coorg without protest.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders, saddle choice is compounded by heat. On a four-hour climb out of Pune or a long brevet in the Nilgiris, padding that compresses in 38°C+ temperatures turns a manageable discomfort into a ride-ending problem. The Dimension 143's shell construction and cover material are selected for sustained-comfort cycling — give it five to six rides before forming a final opinion, as all saddles need a break-in period to settle to your position.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The 143mm width suits riders whose sit-bone measurement plus approximately 25mm lands in the 135–148mm range. Indian riders often have sit-bone widths in the 115–130mm range, making the Dimension 143 a well-matched option for many. If you ride in a more upright position — common on Indian roads with potholes and unpredictable surfaces — a slightly wider saddle may serve better. Measure before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Prologo Dimension 143 fits standard 7×7mm rail seatpost clamps, compatible with most road and gravel seatposts. Confirm your seatpost rail clamp diameter before fitting. For carbon-railed variants, use a carbon-compatible torque setting as specified by your seatpost manufacturer. Minor fore-aft and tilt adjustments after fitting can significantly change comfort over long distances.

Pairs Well With

Complete your contact-point setup with padded bib shorts for monsoon and heat riding, a seatpost matched to your frame's inner diameter, chamois cream for rides above two hours in Indian summer conditions, and a lightweight saddle bag for essentials on longer climbs. A proper bike fit session is also worth considering.
