Dimension R2 Cpc

The Prologo Dimension R2 Cpc is a performance-oriented road saddle built for riders who spend serious Time in the saddle — whether grinding up the Western Ghats, logging base miles on Pune's ring roads, or pushing through Chennai's punishing summer heat. CPC (Continuos Pressure Control) technology distributes pressure across contact points, making it a strong candidate for training and long-distance riding alike.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Saddle choice is among the most personal decisions in cycling, and in India's 35°C–42°C riding conditions, it matters even more. The Dimension R2 CPC's pressure-distribution design helps reduce perineal discomfort on long efforts — exactly what Ooty climbs or Leh plateau rides demand. The synthetic cover breathes adequately in heat and sheds monsoon moisture without absorbing it. Give it five to six rides before forming a verdict; the fit rewards patience.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Prologo saddles follow European sizing conventions based on sit-bone width. Indian riders typically fall in the 130–155mm sit-bone range. Measure by sitting on cardboard, marking the dimples, and adding approximately 25mm to the centre-to-centre distance. In summer heat, a slightly wider saddle can feel more supportive as soft tissue responds to temperature changes. When in doubt, size up one width.

Compatibility Notes

The Dimension R2 CPC uses standard 7×7mm rail clamp geometry, compatible with the vast majority of road seatposts. Match your seatpost diameter to your frame — commonly 27.2mm, 30.9mm, or 31.6mm. If mounting on a carbon-rail variant, always torque to manufacturer specifications using a calibrated torque wrench. Clean rails with a dry cloth after monsoon rides to prevent corrosion.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit with quality padded bib shorts for rides over two hours, a layback or inline seatpost suited to your position, chamois cream for hot and humid conditions, and a compact saddle bag for tool storage on longer routes through remote terrain like Coorg or Spiti.
