DISC Brake Piston & Pad Alignment Tool

Proper disc brake maintenance starts with the right tool. The Icetoolz Disc Brake Piston & Pad Alignment Tool is a dedicated workshop instrument designed to reset caliper pistons and align brake pads accurately — a task that becomes critically important after pad changes, wheel removal, or any brake bleed on Indian roads where consistent stopping power is non-negotiable.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Whether you're descending the Western Ghats near Lonavala, navigating Pune's monsoon-slicked roads, or commuting through Delhi traffic, misaligned disc brake pistons and pads are a genuine safety hazard. This IceToolz tool takes the guesswork out of caliper setup, letting you reset pistons cleanly and confirm pad alignment without scratching rotors or contaminating pads. At Rs. 1,550, it's a sensible addition to any home workshop or bike studio across India.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a universal workshop tool, not a sized product — but compatibility does matter. Confirm it suits your caliper type (hydraulic or mechanical disc). Riders running flat-mount or post-mount calipers from Shimano, SRAM, or Magura will find it broadly compatible. In India's heat and humidity, pistons can seize faster, making regular inspection and resetting with a proper tool even more worthwhile.

Compatibility Notes

Works with standard hydraulic and mechanical disc brake calipers. Suitable for flat-mount and post-mount systems. Use alongside a proper bleed kit when servicing hydraulic calipers — do not allow brake fluid contact with pads or rotors during piston work. Clean calipers before use. Not intended for rim brake systems.

Pairs Well With

Complete your disc brake service kit with a dedicated hydraulic bleed kit matched to your brake brand, fresh organic or sintered brake pads suited to your rotor type, a torque wrench for caliper bolts, and isopropyl alcohol wipes for rotor and caliper cleaning after any piston work.
