DISC Rotor Truing Tool

A warped disc rotor can turn a confident descent into a nerve-wracking experience. The Icetoolz DISC Rotor Truing Tool gives home mechanics and workshop technicians a precise, affordable way to straighten bent rotors without a trip to the bike shop — especially useful across India where road surfaces, heat, and monsoon conditions can stress braking components harder than most.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Indian roads — from Pune's broken tarmac to Lonavala's steep Ghat descents — punish rotors in ways that smooth European roads simply don't. A bent rotor rubbing on your pads mid-ride is both annoying and unsafe. The IceToolz DISC Rotor Truing Tool is a practical, no-fuss workshop addition that pays for itself quickly. At Rs. 1,250, it is an easy yes for any rider who services their own bike through India's demanding riding seasons.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a workshop tool rather than a sized garment, so fit is not a concern. It is compatible with standard disc rotors across common sizes — verify that your rotor diameter (typically 140mm, 160mm, or 180mm) is within the tool's adjustment range. No European-to-Indian sizing conversion needed; focus instead on confirming rotor mount type on your frame before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

Works with disc rotors used on both mechanical and hydraulic disc brake systems. Compatible with post-mount and flat-mount caliper setups. Suitable for road, gravel, and mountain bike rotors. Keep the tool dry and free of brake fluid contamination. Store away from direct sunlight to prevent any plastic components from warping in India's intense summer heat.

Pairs Well With

Round out your home workshop with a quality torque wrench for rotor bolts, a hydraulic brake bleed kit, replacement brake pads matched to your rotor compound, and a bike repair stand for stable working height during truing sessions.
