Dlc TT 11 Speed Chain

The KMC DLC TT 11-Speed Chain is built for riders who refuse to compromise on drivetrain performance. Finished with KMC's Diamond-Like Carbon coating, it delivers low friction, extended wear life, and precise shifting — qualities that matter whether you're chasing a Strava segment on the Aarey Milk Colony roads or grinding out 200km through the Nilgiris toward Ooty. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

At Rs. 13,599, the KMC DLC TT is a serious investment in drivetrain efficiency. The DLC coating significantly reduces friction and resists the grime and humidity that Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai riders deal with year-round. For time trialists and performance road cyclists, a cleaner-running chain translates directly into smoother power transfer on every pedal stroke. This is the chain you fit and largely forget — until you check your wear indicator and realise it's still going strong.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This chain is designed for 11-speed drivetrains — confirm your groupset speed before ordering. Compatible with Shimano 105, Ultegra, Dura-Ace, and SRAM Rival/Force/Red 11-speed systems. Chain length must be sized to your specific bike geometry; count links carefully during installation or have a trusted mechanic size it correctly. Mixed-brand drivetrain setups generally work well with KMC chains.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for 11-speed drivetrains — not compatible with 10-speed or 12-speed groupsets. Works with Shimano and SRAM 11-speed systems. Replace when a chain wear tool reads 0.5% wear to protect your cassette and chainrings. Use a quality master link tool for installation and removal. Clean regularly, especially during the Indian monsoon season, when grit and moisture accelerate wear noticeably.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup with a wet-condition chain lubricant for monsoon riding, a precision chain wear indicator tool, a chain cleaning device for post-ride maintenance, and an 11-speed compatible cassette. Keeping these items together ensures your drivetrain stays dialled year-round across Indian conditions.
