Double Ended Spoke Wrench

The Birzman Double Ended Spoke Wrench is a compact, precision workshop tool designed for truing wheels and adjusting spoke tension with accuracy. Whether you ride in Pune, Delhi, or tackle the Western Ghats, maintaining wheel true is essential on Indian roads where potholes and rough patches knock wheels out of alignment faster than you might expect.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

India's roads are unforgiving — a pothole on the Chennai ECR or a loose gravel patch descending from Khandala can knock a wheel out of true quickly. Having a reliable spoke wrench at home means you can fix a minor wobble before it becomes a costly problem. The Birzman Double Ended Spoke Wrench is a sensible, well-made addition to any home workshop kit, offering two nipple sizes in one tool for genuine versatility.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a tool, not a wearable — sizing does not apply. However, confirm your spoke nipple size before use. Most road and gravel wheels use a standard nipple size, while some MTB and budget wheels may differ. Check your wheel specification or consult your local bike shop in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad if unsure.

Compatibility Notes

The double-ended design covers two common spoke nipple sizes, making it suitable for road, gravel, and MTB wheels. Works with brass and alloy nipples. Not suitable for internal nipple systems requiring specialist tools. Keep dry and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion, especially during Mumbai or Kolkata monsoon season.

Pairs Well With

Round out your home workshop with a quality wheel truing stand for accurate tension work, a spoke tension meter for precision builds, a set of tyre levers for tyre changes after truing, and a torque wrench for final component checks. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
