Drive Helix 57d Carbon DISC Wheelset

The Elite Wheels Drive Helix 57d Carbon DISC Wheelset is a serious performance upgrade for riders who want aero depth without sacrificing reliability on India's unpredictable roads. With a deep 57mm carbon profile and disc-brake compatibility, these wheels suit everything from Pune–Mumbai expressway intervals to punishing Western Ghats climbs where every watt and gram counts.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

For Indian riders tackling varied conditions — blistering 35°C+ heat in Chennai or Hyderabad, monsoon-slicked roads, and abrupt transitions from smooth tarmac to broken surfaces — a deep-section carbon disc wheelset demands high lateral stiffness paired with genuine tubeless compatibility. The Helix 57d delivers that combination. At Rs. 1,35,999, this is a considered investment, but the aerodynamic and responsiveness gains are felt on every ride, not just race day.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit is about standards, not body size. Confirm your frame's axle spec (QR or thru-axle), disc rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo) before ordering. India's heat accelerates tubeless sealant dry-out — budget for more frequent top-ups during summer months in Rajasthan or the Deccan plateau.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc-brake frames only — not compatible with rim-brake forks. Tubeless-ready construction requires tubeless tyres, valves, and sealant purchased separately. Verify rotor standard (Centerlock or 6-bolt) against your existing brake setup. Thru-axle dimensions must match your specific frame and fork spec precisely before ordering.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Helix 57d build with a matched set of tubeless road tyres suited to Indian tarmac, quality tubeless sealant and valve kit, disc brake rotors in your preferred interface standard, and a precision torque wrench for correct installation torque on thru-axle and rotor bolts.
