Ecllipse PRO Carbon Ust Wheelset

At Rs. 1,96,880, the Mavic Ecllipse PRO Carbon Ust Wheelset is a serious performance investment for road riders who want a genuine upgrade in speed and responsiveness. Built around Mavic's carbon rim technology and UST tubeless standard, this wheelset suits riders tackling everything from Pune's Sinhagad climbs to the smooth tarmac of Delhi's ring roads — where aero efficiency and reliable engagement matter equally.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

Carbon wheels transform a ride more immediately than almost any other upgrade, and the Ecllipse PRO Carbon Ust sits at the top of Mavic's road range for good reason. On Western Ghats climbs or long highway stretches near Hyderabad and Chennai, the combination of a lightweight carbon rim and Mavic's precision hub delivers noticeable responsiveness. For Indian roads — where conditions can shift rapidly — the UST tubeless compatibility adds a meaningful layer of puncture protection and ride comfort at speed.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a 700c wheelset suited to road bike frames. Before ordering, confirm your frame's axle standard (QR or thru-axle), brake type (this model is rim brake), and cassette body compatibility. In India's heat, tubeless sealant can dry faster — budget for more frequent sealant top-ups, especially during summer months in cities like Ahmedabad or Nagpur where temperatures regularly exceed 40°C.

Compatibility Notes

Rim brake variant — verify your frame accepts rim brake wheels and use the correct carbon-specific brake pad compound; standard alloy pads will damage the rim surface. UST tubeless-ready rims require tubeless-compatible tyres, sealant, and valves. Check cassette body compatibility (Shimano HG, SRAM XD/XDR, or Campagnolo) with your drivetrain before purchase.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with high-performance tubeless road tyres matched to the rim width, quality tubeless sealant for India's heat, a full tubeless valve kit, and carbon-compatible rim brake pads. A torque wrench is strongly recommended for correct installation and hub service.
