Energy Caddy XL Top Tube Bag

The Lezyne Energy Caddy XL Top Tube Bag is built for riders who want quick access to nutrition, a phone, or small essentials without stopping mid-ride. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats, tackling a 200km brevet out of Pune, or commuting through Chennai's humid streets, a well-placed top tube bag keeps your kit within arm's reach and your pockets free.

Use Cases

Spare on rides. Backup tube to carry on Indian rides where puncture risk is high.

Lightweight setup. TPU tubes for weight-conscious race day or competitive efforts.

Standard fitment. Butyl tubes for daily training and reliable long-term use.

Our Take

Top tube bags earn their place on Indian rides where jersey pockets sweat through and stopping to dig for gels on a mountain climb costs you momentum. The Energy Caddy XL gives you generous capacity for energy bars, a phone, and a card — all accessible without taking your eyes off Lonavala's broken road surfaces. The XL sizing is particularly useful for longer brevets where nutrition management is non-negotiable. A dependable choice for Indian endurance riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a bag, not a garment — fit refers to compatibility with your top tube rather than body size. Measure your top tube length and check the bag dimensions before ordering. Riders on compact frames or smaller geometry bikes common in Indian cities should confirm the bag doesn't foul the stem or headset. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you're unsure about fitment on your specific frame.

Compatibility Notes

The Energy Caddy XL attaches via hook-and-loop straps, making it compatible with most road and gravel frames. Ensure your top tube is round or mildly tapered — heavily contoured aero top tubes may affect strap security. Not recommended for full-suspension mountain bikes due to frame flex. Clean mounting points periodically to prevent strap slippage in monsoon humidity.

Pairs Well With

Complete your carry setup with a saddle bag for tools and tubes, a frame bag for longer bikepacking routes through Coorg or Ooty, a mini pump that tucks under the down tube, and a set of energy gels or bars to fill the caddy on every ride. Available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
