Ept 11 Speed Chain

The KMC EPT 11-Speed Chain is built for riders who demand consistent shifting performance across every kilometre — whether that's grinding up the Western Ghats near Lonavala, pacing through Pune's dusty outskirts, or logging monsoon miles in Chennai. EPT (Electroless Plating Technology) provides corrosion protection that makes a genuine difference in India's humidity and wet conditions. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

India's riding environment is genuinely hard on chains. Monsoon grit, 35°C+ summer heat in Delhi and Hyderabad, and the fine red dust of Coorg and Ooty together accelerate wear faster than most European roads. The KMC EPT 11-Speed Chain's anti-corrosion treatment directly addresses this reality. At Rs. 3,660, it sits at a sensible price point — cheaper than replacing a cassette prematurely because you ran a worn chain too long.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Chain sizing is about drivetrain speed, not rider size. Confirm your groupset is 11-speed before ordering — this chain is not interchangeable with 10-speed or 12-speed drivetrains. For most 11-speed road and MTB builds, standard chain length applies; use the largest-chainring, largest-sprocket method to size correctly. A chain-sizing guide is available from Cobbled Climbs' support team.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with all major 11-speed groupsets including Shimano 105, Ultegra, GRX, SRAM Rival, Force, and Campagnolo. Works with both mechanical and electronic shifting. Replace when a chain-wear tool reads 0.5% stretch to protect cassette and chainring life. Comes with KMC's quick-link for tool-free connection.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain maintenance kit with a quality wet-condition chain lubricant for monsoon riding, a chain-wear checker tool, a master-link pliers for clean installation, and a 11-speed cassette for a full drivetrain refresh. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
