Etap Brake Hood Cover

Brake hood covers might seem like a small detail, but on long rides through Pune's Sahyadri climbs or Chennai's humid coastal roads, grip and comfort at the lever directly affect control and confidence. The SRAM eTap Brake Hood Cover replaces worn or damaged hoods on your eTap groupset, restoring tactile feedback and a secure grip position on the bars. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are unforgiving on contact points — heat above 35°C softens and ages rubber faster than European climates, and monsoon sweat accelerates wear. The SRAM eTap Brake Hood Cover is a straightforward, high-value refresh for any eTap user whose hoods have started to crack, slip, or lose their shape. For riders in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Delhi logging regular kilometres, replacing hoods before they fail is smart preventive maintenance.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Hood covers are specific to SRAM eTap lever bodies — they are not interchangeable with mechanical SRAM groupsets or other brands. Fit is determined by the lever model, not rider body size. Check your existing groupset generation before ordering. One size fits the corresponding eTap lever; no European-to-Indian size conversion applies here.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for SRAM eTap wireless groupsets. Not compatible with mechanical SRAM levers, Shimano, or Campagnolo. Confirm your specific eTap generation matches. Installation requires no special tools — hoods stretch over the lever body. Clean lever body with isopropyl alcohol before fitting for best adhesion and longevity.

Pairs Well With

Consider refreshing your entire cockpit contact-point setup alongside these hoods: handlebar tape in a complementary grip texture, bar end plugs, brake cables or hydraulic hose fittings if due for replacement, and a quality degreaser and finishing spray for a full cockpit detail.
