Etui Road Cleats

The Look Etui Road Cleats are a replacement cleat solution designed for riders using the Look road pedal system. Whether you are logging early morning kilometres through Pune's Katraj Ghat or tackling steady climbs around Ooty and Coorg, reliable cleat engagement is the quiet foundation of every efficient pedal stroke. Getting this right protects your knees and keeps your power transfer consistent ride after ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. Stiff sole and breathable upper for repeated training in Indian heat and humidity.

Race day. Power transfer and snug retention for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Compatible with indoor trainer cleats for structured Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM workouts.

Our Take

For Indian road cyclists, cleat choice is often underestimated. The Look Etui cleats are a practical, dependable option for riders already in the Look ecosystem — from casual weekend riders in Delhi to more committed cyclists grinding the Western Ghats. In our selection for Indian conditions, the Etui suits those who want assured engagement without overthinking the hardware. Replace them on schedule and your knees will thank you through the long monsoon training blocks.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Cleats do not come in sizes, but fit still matters. The Look Etui is a 3-bolt road cleat, compatible with most road cycling shoes that follow the standard Look/SPD-SL bolt pattern. In India's heat — regularly above 35°C in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad — shoe fit can shift slightly as feet swell, so position your cleats with a small amount of float to accommodate natural foot movement and reduce knee strain on longer rides.

Compatibility Notes

The Look Etui Road Cleats are designed for use with Look road pedals using the 3-bolt cleat interface. Confirm your shoes carry a 3-bolt cleat mount before ordering. Cleats should be checked for wear every few thousand kilometres and replaced annually under regular use. Keep the cleat bolts torqued correctly and apply a small amount of grease to the bolt threads to prevent seizing, particularly during the monsoon season.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with Look road pedals from the same system, a quality pair of 3-bolt road cycling shoes, cleat bolt grease or anti-seize compound for monsoon-proofing, and a dedicated pedal wrench for installation and periodic servicing. These small additions make a meaningful difference to long-term reliability.
