EVO 1700 Front Light

Riding before sunrise in Pune, navigating pre-monsoon haze in Chennai, or tackling an early Lonavala climb in the dark — these are the moments when your front light earns its place. The Magicshine EVO 1700 is a high-output front light built for riders who take visibility seriously, whether commuting through Delhi traffic or training on unlit Hyderabad ring roads.

Use Cases

Commuting. Visibility for early-morning and evening rides through Indian traffic.

Night training. High-output beam for night rides on unlit Indian roads.

Group rides. See-and-be-seen lighting for low-visibility conditions.

Our Take

The Magicshine EVO 1700 delivers serious output for Indian riding realities — dusty roads, poor street lighting, and monsoon gloom combined. At Rs. 7,775 it sits in a competitive bracket, but Magicshine's reputation for reliable light engineering makes it a sensible choice for riders logging pre-dawn kilometres or multi-hour evening rides. The 1700-lumen ceiling means you're genuinely illuminating the road ahead, not just signalling your presence. For Indian conditions, that distinction matters.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Lights don't size like apparel, but mounting fit matters. The EVO 1700 is compatible with standard handlebar diameters found on road, mountain, hybrid, and electric bikes common across India. If you run aero-profile or oversized bars — popular on performance road bikes — verify mount compatibility before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you need guidance matching the mount to your specific setup.

Compatibility Notes

The EVO 1700 suits road, mountain, hybrid, and electric bikes. It charges via USB, making it practical for riders using power banks on tours through Coorg or Ooty. Pair with a Magicshine rear light for a matched ecosystem. Genuine Magicshine product, sold and shipped from Mumbai — all units are 100% authorised stock.

Pairs Well With

Complete your lighting setup with a matched rear light for full road visibility. Add a helmet mount to direct your beam into corners. A compact backup light is smart on long rides. A handlebar bag or cycling pack rounds out a practical night-riding or touring kit.
