Description
The Ceramic Speed Evo386 SRAM Dub Bottom Bracket sits at the intersection of precision engineering and genuine performance gain. For Indian riders pushing through the Ghats, grinding out long kilometres on the Pune-Mumbai expressway, or racing criteriums in Chennai's heat, a high-quality bottom bracket is one of the most overlooked upgrades that quietly pays dividends on every ride. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.
Use Cases
Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.
Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.
Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.
Our Take
Ceramic Speed's Evo386 is built around a 386 EVO shell standard paired with SRAM DUB spindle compatibility — a combination that brings ultra-low rolling resistance to a broader range of frame standards. In India's demanding conditions — humidity in Kolkata, dust on Delhi roads, monsoon grit on Pune's climbs — conventional steel bearings degrade fast. Ceramic Speed's bearing technology holds up longer between service intervals, meaning fewer workshop visits and more time riding.
Sizing for Indian Riders
This is not a size-dependent product in the traditional sense, but compatibility is everything. Confirm your frame accepts the 386 EVO shell standard and your crankset uses SRAM DUB spindle format before ordering. DUB is SRAM's current universal spindle platform, compatible across their road and MTB groupset ranges. When in doubt, cross-check your frame's bottom bracket shell spec — a quick call to Cobbled Climbs' team saves a return trip.
Compatibility Notes
Designed specifically for 386 EVO bottom bracket shells and SRAM DUB cranksets. Works across SRAM's road and gravel groupset lineup that uses DUB spindle format. Not compatible with Shimano or Campagnolo cranks. Professional installation is strongly recommended — correct preload and torque settings are critical for bearing longevity, especially given India's heat and humidity cycles.
Pairs Well With
Complete your drivetrain with a SRAM DUB-compatible crankset, a quality chain suited to your groupset speed, a precision torque wrench for correct installation, and a dedicated wet-condition chain lubricant for monsoon riding. Browse these categories at Cobbled Climbs for a matched build.
