Extension S-bend Alloy Without Clip-on

Aero extensions are the defining contact point for Time trial and triathlon riders, and the 3T Extension S-bend Alloy Without Clip-on brings Italian engineering precision to that equation. Whether you are pushing watts on the flat roads outside Hyderabad or grinding out a long training block in Pune's summer heat, getting your arm position right on the extensions makes a measurable difference to comfort and speed.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The S-bend geometry of this 3T alloy extension positions your arms in a natural forward sweep, reducing shoulder strain on long efforts — a real advantage on India's mixed road surfaces where holding an aero tuck for extended periods demands genuine comfort. Sold without clip-ons, it suits riders who already have a base bar or are replacing extensions only. At Rs. 2,990 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it is a focused, cost-effective upgrade for time trial or triathlon training.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Extension length and reach should match your torso length and flexibility — not a European average. Indian riders with shorter torsos may prefer a shorter reach setting. In 35°C+ heat across Chennai or Delhi, a position you can hold without locking up matters more than the most aggressive aero setup. If unsure, size conservatively and adjust padding stack to find comfort first.

Compatibility Notes

These extensions are sold without clip-ons — you will need a separate base bar with clip-on mounts or an existing clip-on system to pair them with. Verify the extension diameter and mounting interface matches your clip-on clamps before ordering. Alloy construction is durable across India's humidity and monsoon conditions; rinse after wet rides and inspect mounting points periodically.

Pairs Well With

Complete your aero cockpit by adding a clip-on base bar set, aero extension pads and armrests for comfort, a compatible stem to dial in your reach, and a torque wrench for safe installation. Browse all categories at Cobbled Climbs.
