F5 105 Disc Road Bike

The Pinarello F5 105 Disc Road Bike brings Italian racing DNA to a price point that makes serious performance cycling genuinely accessible. Built around a carbon frame with Shimano 105 disc-equipped groupset, this is a complete, ready-to-ride machine — not a parts bin assembled for show. For riders in Pune, Hyderabad, or Delhi looking to commit to road cycling at a high level, the F5 105 Disc is a considered, capable choice.

Use Cases

Race day. Race geometry and pro-level component spec for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Endurance geometry and comfort for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile platform for road, gravel, and bikepacking in India.

Our Take

The F5 carries Pinarello's asymmetric frame philosophy — shaped to counter drivetrain forces and deliver a predictable, confidence-inspiring ride. On the Western Ghats climbs around Lonavala and Khandala, or long flat expressway runs out of Ahmedabad, the 105 disc groupset delivers crisp, reliable shifting and controlled braking in wet descents. For riders stepping up from an entry-level bike, this is a meaningful, long-term investment in performance cycling.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Pinarello sizing is based on seat tube length — typically more generous through the front end than Asian-market alternatives. Indian riders with shorter torso-to-leg ratios may find a smaller frame with a longer stem suits them better. If you are between sizes, consider your riding style: size down for a more aggressive race position, size up for endurance comfort on longer Coorg or Ooty rides. A professional bike fit is strongly advised.

Compatibility Notes

The F5 105 Disc ships as a complete bicycle. Disc brake standards are integrated — do not mix caliper types. Pedals are not included; choose SPD-SL or Look Kéo cleats matched to your road shoes. First service is recommended after the initial 200km. Annual servicing, especially after monsoon riding in Mumbai or Chennai, keeps the drivetrain and braking system in optimal condition.

Pairs Well With

Complete the F5 setup with clipless road pedals, a quality road cycling helmet, and aerodynamic road cycling shoes. A floor pump with a pressure gauge and a compact cycling computer round out the cockpit. For longer rides in Indian heat, a hydration and nutrition system is worth adding early.
