Falconer 2vi MIPS Helmet

The Sweet Protection Falconer 2vi MIPS Helmet is built for riders who refuse to compromise between safety and comfort. With MIPS rotational impact protection, a well-engineered ventilation system, and an adjustable retention fit, it addresses the real demands of road cycling in India — from blistering afternoon heat to long climbs where every gram counts.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

Sweet Protection has earned serious respect among European road cyclists, and the Falconer 2vi MIPS translates that pedigree well to Indian riding. The MIPS liner adds meaningful rotational impact protection — especially valuable on Indian roads where surface quality can surprise you. Ventilation is genuinely effective for 35°C+ rides in Pune, Hyderabad, or on the long climbs toward Ooty and Coorg. At Rs. 24,900, this is a considered buy, but the safety engineering justifies the investment.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure head circumference at the forehead, just above the eyebrows. Sweet Protection's fit runs close to European norms — S fits approximately 51–55 cm, M fits 55–59 cm, L fits 59–63 cm. The adjustable retention dial accommodates variation well. In Indian heat, a snug but not tight fit matters — swelling can occur on long summer rides. When in doubt, size up and use the dial to fine-tune.

Compatibility Notes

The Falconer 2vi meets international safety certifications relevant to road cycling. The MIPS liner is integrated and requires no separate setup. Compatible with most cycling sunglasses — verify temple clearance before purchase. Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even without visible external damage. UV exposure during Indian summer riding accelerates foam degradation; plan replacement every five years.

Pairs Well With

Complete your ride setup with cycling sunglasses suited to road use, a moisture-wicking cycling cap worn under the helmet for sweat management on hot days, a quality road cycling jersey, and a rear light for visibility on early-morning or evening rides through city traffic.
