Flux S Electromagnetic Direct Drive Bicycle Trainer

India's monsoon blocks roads for months, and summer heat above 35°C makes outdoor riding genuinely dangerous. The Tacx Flux S Electromagnetic Direct Drive Trainer brings structured, app-connected indoor training into your home — delivering accurate power data and quiet operation suited to apartment living in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, or Chennai. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Wahoo in India.

Use Cases

Indoor training. Structured workouts via Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM.

Race day prep. Smart-trainer simulation of race-day power demands.

Year-round training. Indoor riding through Indian monsoon, peak heat, and pollution-heavy days.

Our Take

The Flux S sits in the sweet spot for serious Indian cyclists who train through monsoon and summer. Electromagnetic resistance means consistent, repeatable power feel whether you're grinding out threshold intervals for a Lonavala climb or following a Zwift race at midnight. Noise levels are apartment-appropriate, and the direct-drive design eliminates tyre wear — a meaningful saving given the cost of quality rubber in India.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Flux S is a direct-drive trainer, so bike fit rather than trainer size is what matters here. Ensure your road or gravel bike's rear axle standard is compatible before ordering. Indian riders training in warm rooms should pair the trainer with a dedicated fan — heat in enclosed spaces affects both comfort and power output significantly.

Compatibility Notes

The Flux S supports ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth Smart, making it compatible with Zwift, TrainerRoad, Rouvy, Wahoo SYSTM, and most training apps. A cassette matching your drivetrain speed (10, 11, or 12-speed) is required and typically sold separately. Verify your rear axle standard before purchase. All Tacx products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your indoor setup with a high-density training mat to protect floors and dampen vibration, a frame-mounted sweat guard to prevent corrosion in humid Indian conditions, a high-velocity fan for airflow, and a compatible cassette matched to your drivetrain speed.
