Gear Silver Star Campagnolo Cable Kit

Shifting precision on Indian roads — from Pune's potholed city streets to the long climbs above Lonavala — depends as much on your cable kit as your derailleur. The Alligator Gear Silver Star Campagnolo Cable Kit is built specifically for Campagnolo groupsets, delivering smooth, consistent gear changes in heat, humidity, and the grit that comes with Indian road surfaces.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Campagnolo users in India know that generic cable kits rarely do justice to Italian groupsets. The Alligator Silver Star is engineered to match Campagnolo's exacting cable pull and housing tolerances, making it a worthwhile upgrade for riders tackling Ooty climbs, Hyderabad training loops, or Chennai's coastal humidity. At Rs. 1,890 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it is one of the smarter maintenance investments for any Campagnolo-equipped bike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This kit is designed for Campagnolo-specific cable pull ratios — do not substitute with Shimano or SRAM cable kits on a Campagnolo groupset, as shift feel and indexing will suffer. Housing lengths may need trimming to suit your frame size and routing. Riders in Chennai or Mumbai riding in high humidity should ensure cable ends are properly crimped to prevent fraying.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Campagnolo mechanical groupsets including Chorus, Potenza, Centaur, and Veloce. Not compatible with Campagnolo EPS electronic systems. Use the included ferrules and end caps for a clean, rattle-free installation. Replace cables and housing together for best shifting performance — mixing old housing with new cables reduces effectiveness.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain service with a Campagnolo-compatible chain, bar tape for re-wrapping drop handlebars after cable routing, a quality cable cutter for clean housing cuts, and a chain lubricant suited to Indian wet or dry conditions depending on your riding season.
