Genius 10 Mega

The Sidi Genius 10 Mega is a performance road cycling shoe built around a stiff sole for efficient power transfer and a precise closure system for a dialled-in fit. Designed for riders who demand consistency across long rides, it addresses the two biggest challenges for Indian cyclists: heat management and foot shape diversity — particularly the wider forefeet common among Indian riders. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Look in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Genius 10 Mega earns its place in Sidi's lineup through a combination of ventilation engineering and a fit system that holds up across hours in the saddle. For riders tackling the Ghats above Pune, grinding through Chennai humidity, or logging early-morning kilometres on Delhi's ring roads, the shoe's airflow design does real work when temperatures climb past 35°C. The Mega last is the standout here — wider across the forefoot than standard Sidi lasts, making this a genuinely considered option for Indian foot shapes rather than an afterthought.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Sidi's EU sizing runs true to size, but the Mega designation specifically addresses wider forefeet — a meaningful advantage for many Indian riders who find standard European lasts pinching by kilometre 40. Order your standard EU size and try with your usual cycling socks. If you sit between sizes, go half a size up. Heel slip signals too large; forefoot pressure signals too small.

Compatibility Notes

The Genius 10 Mega accepts both 3-bolt cleats (SPD-SL, Look Keo) and requires confirmation of your specific pedal system before ordering — cleats are sold separately. BOA or Velcro closure components are user-serviceable. Third-party insoles fit the standard footbed pocket. Wipe clean after monsoon rides; avoid prolonged submersion to protect the closure mechanisms.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with a matching pedal system (road clipless), performance cycling socks for hot-weather breathability, neoprene shoe covers for monsoon commutes through Hyderabad or Kolkata, and a quality chamois cream to round out long-ride comfort. Insole upgrades are also worth considering for riders with high arches.
