Graphenpads DISC Brake Pads

Disc brake performance lives and dies by the quality of the pad compound. On demanding Indian terrain — steep Ghat descents outside Pune, monsoon-soaked Chennai roads, or back-to-back switchbacks near Khandala — the Absolute Black Graphenpads DISC Brake Pads bring graphene-enhanced stopping power and heat management that standard sintered or organic pads simply cannot match.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Graphene as a pad material is a genuine step forward in thermal conductivity and friction consistency. For Indian riders dealing with 35°C+ summer heat, sustained braking on Lonavala or Coorg descents, and the sudden stops demanded by city traffic in Delhi or Hyderabad, these pads hold modulation where cheaper compounds fade. At Rs. 5,150, this is a performance upgrade that pays off in genuine confidence on the bike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Brake pads are sized by caliper model, not body size. Confirm your brake caliper brand and model before ordering — Shimano, SRAM, and Magura all use different pad shapes. Rotor diameter (140, 160, or 180mm) does not affect pad selection directly, but riding style on long Indian climbs should guide your choice between organic and sintered compound variants.

Compatibility Notes

Graphenpads are disc-specific and must be matched to your caliper model. They are not suitable for rim brake systems. Verify your mount type (flat-mount or post-mount) and confirm pad slot dimensions match your caliper. Avoid contaminating new pads with chain lube or brake fluid during installation — contaminated pads cannot be cleaned and must be replaced.

Pairs Well With

Complete your braking system with quality disc rotors sized to your frame and fork, a torque wrench for correct caliper bolt torque, hydraulic bleed kit and manufacturer-specified fluid if running hydraulic calipers, and bar-mounted brake levers matched to your groupset generation.
