Hakan Sunglasses

The 100% Hakan Sunglasses bring performance eyewear engineering to Indian roads, where blazing sun, road dust, tunnel shadows on the Ghats, and monsoon humidity demand more than casual shades. Designed for cyclists who train daily and race seriously, the Hakan pairs wide-coverage lens geometry with a frame built to stay put through long climbs and sprint finishes. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for 100% in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

For riders tackling Lonavala and Khandala switchbacks at dawn or grinding through Chennai's midday heat, the Hakan's coverage and optical clarity make a genuine difference. The frame sits confidently under a helmet without interference, and the lens tint handles the sharp contrast between open-road glare and shaded Ghat sections. At Rs. 9,900, this is purposeful eyewear selected for real Indian riding conditions — not just a brand badge.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Hakan follows 100%'s one-size-fits-most adult approach, which works well for medium to larger face profiles common among male riders. Riders with narrower or smaller faces — particularly common in South Indian and Northeast Indian cycling communities — should check the frame width before ordering. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips offer enough customisation to manage fit through sweaty summer rides above 35°C.

Compatibility Notes

The Hakan is compatible with all modern road and gravel helmets — confirm temple arm clearance against your specific lid. Lenses can be cleaned with a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens cleaner; avoid paper towels or harsh chemicals that damage coatings. Check 100%'s current lineup for prescription insert compatibility if needed.

Pairs Well With

Complete your eye and head protection setup with a well-ventilated road helmet, a cycling cap for under-helmet sweat management on long summer rides, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth for dusty Indian roads, and a hard carry case for travel to events in Ooty, Coorg, or Leh.
