Handlebar Pack

Multi-day bikepacking through the Western Ghats, a loaded ride from Pune to Lonavala, or a self-supported Himalayan crossing — each demands handlebar carriage that stays firmly in place, sheds monsoon rain, and keeps gear accessible without stopping. The Restrap Handlebar Pack is purpose-built for exactly this kind of riding, offering a clean, strap-on mounting system that works across a wide range of handlebar setups.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

For Indian riders tackling long-distance routes — Coorg descents, Ooty switchbacks, or Leh-bound Himalayan stages — the Restrap Handlebar Pack earns its place at the front of the bike. The mounting system stays secure on rough Deccan plateau roads and broken tarmac alike. In a market flooded with cheaper alternatives, Restrap's construction quality justifies the Rs. 16,500 price point for riders who take multi-day load-carrying seriously.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Handlebar packs fit based on handlebar diameter and width rather than rider body size. Before ordering, confirm your handlebar diameter — most drop bars run 31.8mm at the clamp but vary at the drops. Wider handlebars common among riders tackling technical Himalayan or Western Ghats routes may affect how the pack sits. Contact Cobbled Climbs if unsure about fit on your specific setup.

Compatibility Notes

The Restrap Handlebar Pack uses a strap-based mounting system compatible with most standard drop handlebars. Verify clearance with your brake and gear cables before mounting. Not recommended for heavily flared gravel bars without checking fit first. Dry bag liners or waterproof stuff sacks are worth adding for sustained monsoon riding. All Restrap products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.
