Headset Top Cap Ticr 9mm Pacf Am

The Pinarello Headset Top Cap Ticr 9mm PACF AM is a precision-engineered headset component designed to work with Pinarello's TICR integrated cable routing system. For riders running a TICR-equipped Pinarello frame in India's demanding conditions — monsoon humidity, dusty roads, and the punishing heat of cities like Pune, Delhi, or Hyderabad — maintaining headset integrity is essential to both steering feel and long-term reliability.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

A headset top cap may seem like a minor detail, but on a TICR-system Pinarello, this 9mm PACF AM cap is a specific, non-interchangeable part that governs cable routing and headset preload in one. Replacing it with a generic alternative risks poor cable management and steering slop. For riders climbing the Western Ghats or navigating Chennai's coastal humidity, using the correct OEM part is simply the right call.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is not a sizing-dependent component in the traditional sense, but compatibility is critical. The 9mm specification and PACF AM designation mean it is designed for a specific Pinarello TICR fork and stem configuration. Confirm your frame and fork model with Cobbled Climbs before ordering — our team can verify fitment based on your bike's build year and spec sheet.

Compatibility Notes

This top cap is designed exclusively for Pinarello TICR integrated cable routing systems with the PACF AM standard. It is not a universal headset cap. Verify your Pinarello frame model and headset configuration before purchase. Correct installation requires appropriate torque — do not overtighten. All Pinarello parts at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Consider pairing this top cap with a compatible headset service kit, quality carbon assembly paste, a precision torque wrench for safe installation, and fresh headset bearing grease to protect the interface against monsoon moisture. Browse the full accessories range at Cobbled Climbs.
