Hollowcage Carbon Ceramic Ospw for SRAM AXS

The Absolute Black Hollowcage Carbon Ceramic OSPW for SRAM AXS is a precision-engineered over-sized pulley wheel system designed to reduce drivetrain friction and improve power transfer on any SRAM AXS-equipped road or gravel bike. For Indian riders chasing marginal gains on Pune–Mumbai expressway sprints or grinding up the Ghats, every watt saved at the drivetrain counts.

Use Cases

Standard road bikes. Universal-fit cages for most road and gravel frames.

Compact frames. Side-load options for compact Indian-sized frames where clearance is tight.

Race day. Lightweight construction for competitive setups and weight-conscious builds.

Our Take

Ceramic bearings in India's heat — routinely above 35°C in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Ahmedabad — outperform standard steel bearings by running cooler and requiring less force to spin. The carbon cage keeps weight minimal while the over-sized pulley geometry reduces chain wrap angle, meaning noticeably smoother, more efficient pedalling. For SRAM AXS users looking to extract more from an already premium groupset, this is one of the most satisfying drivetrain upgrades available at Cobbled Climbs.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This OSPW system is designed specifically for SRAM AXS drivetrains — confirm whether your groupset is Red AXS, Force AXS, or Rival AXS, as cage compatibility can vary between generations. No European-to-Indian size conversion applies here, but ensure your derailleur model matches the listed compatibility before ordering. Chain width (12-speed) must also be verified.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with SRAM AXS rear derailleurs only — verify your exact derailleur generation before purchasing. The ceramic bearing pulleys require clean, dry lubrication; avoid thick wet lubes during monsoon season in favour of a quality ceramic-specific chain lube. Carbon cage requires careful torque management during installation — use a torque wrench and follow Absolute Black's published specifications.

Pairs Well With

To complete your drivetrain upgrade, consider pairing this OSPW with a quality ceramic chain lubricant suited to Indian road conditions, a SRAM AXS-compatible chain, a precision torque wrench for safe installation, and a chain wear indicator tool for ongoing drivetrain maintenance.
