Huru Rear Derailleur Hanger

A derailleur hanger is the unsung guardian of your drivetrain — the sacrificial component that absorbs impact so your derailleur and frame don't. The Chapter 2 Huru Rear Derailleur Hanger is precision-engineered specifically for Chapter 2's Huru frame, ensuring correct alignment and consistent shifting on everything from Pune's rough tarmac to the sweeping descents of Lonavala.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Indian riding throws a lot at your bike — potholed city streets, monsoon grit, and long climbs in 35°C+ heat. A correctly fitted, frame-specific derailleur hanger keeps your shifting crisp and protects far more expensive components from a single crash or strike. At Rs. 2,975, this is smart insurance for any Huru owner who rides regularly and doesn't want a bent derailleur writing off a weekend in Khandala or Coorg.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hanger is frame-specific to the Chapter 2 Huru — fit is not adjustable and there are no sizing variables. Confirm your frame model before ordering. Installation is straightforward for a confident home mechanic, but if you're unsure about derailleur alignment post-installation, a quick check at your local bike shop is worthwhile, especially before a long ride.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for the Chapter 2 Huru frame. Compatible with the derailleur and groupset standards supported by that frame. Always verify your specific Huru build year and variant. After installation, check derailleur hanger alignment with an alignment tool before riding to ensure accurate shifting across all gears.

Pairs Well With

Keep a second hanger in your toolkit for touring or long-distance rides. Pair with a derailleur hanger alignment tool, a quality chain lubricant suited to Indian conditions, and a compact multi-tool with chain breaker for on-road repairs.
