Hydraulic Hose Fitting Combo Kit

A proper hydraulic hose fitting is the unsung foundation of reliable disc brake performance. The Jagwire Hydraulic Hose Fitting Combo Kit gives mechanics and home wrenchers a precise, all-in-one solution for building or servicing hydraulic brake lines — critical when India's monsoon season, Ghat descents, and potholed city roads demand brakes you can trust completely. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders tackling the Western Ghats, Lonavala switchbacks, or Coorg's rain-slicked roads, a well-fitted hydraulic hose is not optional — it is the difference between confident modulation and a spongy lever that makes you nervous mid-descent. Jagwire's combo kit bundles everything needed for a clean, leak-free hose installation, saving time and eliminating the guesswork of sourcing fittings individually. Solid value for anyone building up a new bike or refreshing aging brake lines.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a fitting kit, not a lever or caliper — sizing here means hose length and fitting compatibility with your specific brake brand. Indian riders should confirm whether their hydraulic system uses olive-and-barb or push-fit connections before ordering. Shimano and SRAM use different standards; always cross-reference your brake model before cutting hose.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with standard hydraulic disc brake systems — confirm your brake brand's hose interface type (Shimano mineral-oil systems and SRAM DOT-fluid systems use distinct fittings). Use the correct fluid type specified by your brake manufacturer; never mix DOT and mineral oil. Bleed the system after any hose work. Store unused fittings away from direct sunlight and heat, which is especially relevant in cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad where workshop temperatures regularly exceed 35°C.

Pairs Well With

Complete your brake service with a hydraulic bleed kit matched to your fluid type (Shimano mineral oil or SRAM DOT), quality brake pads suited to your rotor compound, a torque wrench for caliper bolts, and fresh hydraulic hose cut to your frame's routing length.
