Hydraulic Hose Fitting Compression Bushing

A hydraulic brake system is only as reliable as its smallest components. The Jagwire Hydraulic Hose Fitting Compression Bushing is a precision small part that ensures a secure, leak-free connection between your hydraulic hose and brake caliper or lever — critical for consistent braking feel on Indian roads from city traffic to Ghat descents.

Use Cases

Post-ride recovery. Compression, percussion, and recovery tools for quick recovery between rides.

Travel recovery. Compact recovery tools for travel to rides and races.

Rest day support. Active recovery tools for rest days between hard training blocks.

Our Take

At Rs. 720, this is one of those components you should always have in your toolbox. A loose or damaged compression bushing is a leading cause of spongy hydraulic brake feel — the last thing you want on a wet descent from Lonavala or Khandala. Jagwire's precision machining ensures a proper, secure hose-to-fitting connection, maintaining brake line pressure and modulation in 35°C+ heat and monsoon humidity alike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a fitment part, not a sized garment — compatibility depends on your hydraulic hose outer diameter and the specific brake system you run. Confirm your brake brand and hose specification before ordering. Jagwire hose fittings are compatible with most major hydraulic systems, but always cross-check your existing hose diameter and fitting type to avoid a mismatch.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for use with Jagwire hydraulic hose and compatible third-party hydraulic brake systems. Verify hose outer diameter compatibility with your specific brake brand before fitting. Use the correct bleed fluid (mineral oil or DOT, as specified by your brake manufacturer) and do not mix fluid types. Replace the bushing any time you re-cut or re-terminate a hydraulic hose end.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydraulic brake service kit with hydraulic brake hose (cut to length), brake bleed kits and fluid, hydraulic inline barb fittings and olive inserts, and a quality hose cutter or cable preparation tool. Keeping these together means a clean, professional hose termination every time.
