Ia Advanced 105 DISC TT Bike

The Felt Ia Advanced 105 DISC TT Bike is a purpose-engineered Time trial machine built for triathletes and TT specialists who demand aero efficiency and disc brake control in one complete package. For Indian riders chasing podiums at events from the Mumbai cyclothon circuit to multi-discipline triathlons in Hyderabad or Chennai, this is a serious race-day investment.

Use Cases

Race day. Race geometry and pro-level component spec for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Endurance geometry and comfort for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile platform for road, gravel, and bikepacking in India.

Our Take

The Ia Advanced positions itself as one of the most capable entry points into serious triathlon competition available in India today. The carbon frame delivers aero geometry without compromise, while the Shimano 105 disc groupset offers mechanical dependability across variable Indian conditions — from the punishing heat of a Chennai TT course to wet descents in Coorg or Ooty. For riders ready to commit to the discipline, this bike rewards structured training with genuine race-day performance.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Felt's TT geometry is aggressive by design — reach and drop are more pronounced than on a road bike. Indian riders typically find European sizing runs slightly long. Measure your inseam and torso carefully and cross-reference Felt's geometry chart. In India's 35°C+ summer heat, a marginally more upright TT position reduces fatigue on longer efforts. A professional bike fit is strongly recommended before your first event.

Compatibility Notes

The bike arrives complete with Shimano 105 disc mechanical groupset and hydraulic disc brakes. Pedals are not included — select a pedal system compatible with your triathlon shoes (typically 3-bolt Look Keo or Speedplay). The disc brake standard is compatible with most aftermarket wheelsets. First-service inspection is advised after the initial 100 km of riding.

Pairs Well With

Complete your triathlon setup with a carbon TT helmet, aero triathlon shoes, a race-fit trisuit, and a quality CO2 inflator or mini-pump for race-day emergencies. A cycling-specific power meter is also a worthwhile addition for structured training and pacing strategy on race day.
