Ia Advanced Ultegra DISC Brake TT Bike

The Felt Ia Advanced Ultegra DISC Brake TT Bike is a purpose-built Time trial machine designed for athletes who race against the clock. Whether you are targeting a triathlon finish in Chennai, a TT stage in Pune, or pushing your limits on the flat expressways around Ahmedabad, this is a bike engineered around one objective: speed.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Time trial bikes demand a different kind of commitment, and the Felt Ia delivers exactly that. The aerodynamic frame geometry locks you into an aggressive, forward-leaning position optimised for minimal drag. Shimano Ultegra disc brakes add confident stopping power — a genuine advantage during monsoon-season events in coastal cities like Mumbai or Chennai where wet conditions catch riders off guard. For serious triathletes and TT specialists across India, this is a focused, competition-grade machine.

Sizing for Indian Riders

TT bike fit is far more position-sensitive than a standard road bike. Felt uses seat tube length-based sizing — measure your inseam carefully and cross-reference the official geometry chart. Indian riders with shorter torso-to-leg ratios should pay particular attention to reach and stack figures. A professional bike fit from a qualified fitter in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Pune is not optional here — it is essential for both performance and injury prevention.

Compatibility Notes

This bike ships as a complete build with the Shimano Ultegra groupset and disc brake system. Pedals are not included — choose a clipless system matched to your existing tri or road shoes. The disc brake standard requires compatible wheels if you plan upgrades. First service is recommended after the initial 100km to check cable tension and torque settings.

Pairs Well With

Complete your TT setup with a quality aero helmet for significant time savings, triathlon-specific clipless pedals matched to your shoes, a aero bottle or hydration system for race-legal nutrition, and a track pump for precise tyre pressure management before every event.
