Aluminium Bottle Cage

Staying hydrated on long rides through Pune's hills, Chennai's coastal heat, or the endless climbs toward Lonavala is non-negotiable. The Ibera Aluminium Bottle Cage is a straightforward, dependable accessory that keeps your water bottle locked in place across rough tarmac, broken surfaces, and everything Indian roads throw at you — all at a price that leaves room in your budget for the ride ahead.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are unforgiving on cheap plastic cages — vibrations from Hyderabad's patchy roads or Ooty's rocky descents send bottles flying. Ibera's aluminium construction holds its shape better than entry-level plastic alternatives and sheds weight without breaking the bank. At Rs. 1,610, it is a sensible, no-fuss upgrade for commuters and weekend riders alike who want reliable bottle retention through monsoon rattles and summer heat above 35°C.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This cage is designed to fit standard 700ml and larger cycling bottles. Most Indian riders will find it accommodates common bottle sizes without issue. The aluminium frame can be gently bent to fine-tune the grip tension, which is useful if your bottle feels loose or overly tight — a common need given the wide variety of bottle brands available locally.

Compatibility Notes

Mounts via standard two-bolt cage bosses found on road, MTB, gravel, and hybrid frames. Compatible with most round cycling bottles. Keep the mounting bolts finger-tight first, then torque evenly to avoid cracking the cage eyelets. Wipe clean after monsoon rides to prevent any surface oxidation over time.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydration setup with an insulated or standard cycling water bottle, a second bottle cage for longer rides, a frame bag or saddle pack for extra storage, and a cycling computer mount if you are tidying up your cockpit at the same time.
