Ibex 3.0 Helmet

Riding in India means dealing with 38°C heat on Pune's Sinhagad climb, monsoon-slicked roads outside Chennai, or relentless sun on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. A helmet that keeps air moving while meeting international safety standards is not a luxury — it is a necessity. The HJC Ibex 3.0 Helmet is built for exactly these demands, combining a well-designed ventilation system with an adjustable retention fit for all-day comfort.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

The HJC Ibex 3.0 is a strong choice for Indian road riders who need a helmet that handles sustained heat without compromising safety. HJC has long been selected for quality construction at a competitive price, and the Ibex 3.0 carries that reputation forward. For riders tackling the Ghats or grinding through Hyderabad's summer training rides, the ventilation system does meaningful work keeping your head cooler than a poorly designed alternative at this price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure head circumference at the forehead — typically S=51–55cm, M=55–59cm, L=59–63cm. Verify HJC's own chart as sizing varies between brands. The helmet should sit level, one finger above the eyebrows. In Indian heat, a slightly snug fit is preferable to loose, as sweat can shift padding. Adjust the retention dial and chin strap V-fit under each ear before every ride.

Compatibility Notes

Certified to international safety standards — verify the specific certification (CPSC, EN 1078, or equivalent) on the box before use. Compatible with most cycling sunglasses; check temple arm clearance before purchase. The adjustable retention system works with standard cycling caps underneath in cooler conditions. Replace immediately after any significant impact, regardless of visible external damage.

Pairs Well With

Complete your road setup with a pair of cycling sunglasses with compatible temple width, a moisture-wicking cycling jersey suited to Indian heat, a quality rear light for visibility on busy roads, and cycling gloves for added comfort and safety on rough surfaces.
