Iclic Float Road Cleats

The Time Iclic Float Road Cleats are purpose-built for Time's Iclic pedal system, offering lateral foot float that protects your knees on long days in the saddle. Whether you're grinding Western Ghats climbs out of Pune or clocking early-morning kilometres on the outskirts of Hyderabad, reliable cleat engagement and comfortable float make a genuine difference ride after ride. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Look in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Stiff sole and breathable upper for repeated training in Indian heat and humidity.

Race day. Power transfer and snug retention for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Compatible with indoor trainer cleats for structured Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM workouts.

Our Take

Float cleats are often overlooked until knees start complaining — and in India's heat, where rides stretch long and fatigue sets in fast, forgiving float matters more than most riders expect. The Iclic Float cleat's design gives your foot room to move naturally through the pedal stroke without sacrificing positive engagement. For riders tackling Lonavala ascents or weekend centuries around Chennai's ECR, these cleats offer reassuring reliability without fuss.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These cleats are specific to Time's Iclic pedal platform and use a 3-bolt mounting pattern. They are not cross-compatible with Shimano SPD-SL, Look Keo, or Speedplay systems. Indian riders with wider feet or those who supinate under heat fatigue will appreciate the float variant over fixed-position cleats — it reduces lateral knee stress during extended summer riding above 35°C.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with Time Iclic road pedals. Requires a 3-bolt road shoe sole. Cleat bolts should be torqued carefully — avoid over-tightening on carbon soles. Clean cleat grooves periodically during monsoon season, as Mumbai and Kolkata's wet roads accelerate grit accumulation. Replace cleats when engagement feels loose or release becomes unpredictable.

Pairs Well With

For a complete Iclic setup, consider pairing these cleats with Time Iclic road pedals, 3-bolt road cycling shoes, cleat bolt kits and anti-creak washers, and a torque wrench for precise installation on carbon shoe soles.
