Inspider Vegast AERO Q52/36 170mm Oval Power Meter

Power data transforms how Indian cyclists train and race. Whether you're grinding through the Western Ghats near Pune, chasing Strava segments on Ooty climbs, or building FTP in Chennai's heat, the Rotor Inspider Vegast AERO Q52/36 170mm Oval Power Meter delivers precise wattage data to keep your training structured, targeted, and measurable across every condition India can throw at you.

Use Cases

Structured training. Power-based intervals for Zwift, TrainerRoad, or coach-led training.

Race day pacing. Real-time power data for sustainable race efforts.

Performance tracking. Long-term power trends to measure fitness gains.

Our Take

Rotor's oval chainring technology combined with a direct power meter makes this a compelling choice for serious Indian cyclists who want accurate, crank-based wattage data. The Q52/36 setup suits varied terrain — from flat coastal rides in Chennai to steep Lonavala pitches. In 35°C+ summer heat, where perceived effort misleads, real power numbers keep pacing honest and training effective.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The 170mm crank arm length is well-suited to most Indian riders, particularly those with shorter inseam measurements common in the region. If you typically ride 172.5mm or 175mm cranks, consider this carefully before ordering. Riders moving from circular to Rotor's oval rings may notice a different pedal stroke feel — this is by design and adapts within a few rides.

Compatibility Notes

The Q52/36 chainring configuration works with front derailleurs and drivetrains designed for a double compact or semi-compact setup. Verify your bottom bracket shell standard and spider interface before ordering. Compatible with ANT+ and Bluetooth head units from Garmin, Wahoo, and Bryton. All Rotor products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

For a complete training setup, consider pairing with a GPS cycling computer, a heart rate monitor, a cadence sensor, and a quality smart trainer for indoor sessions during Mumbai's monsoon months. A reliable torque wrench is also recommended for correct installation.
