Internal Routing Kit

Internal cable routing has become the norm on modern road and gravel bikes, but threading cables and housing through tight, hidden channels is one of the more frustrating workshop jobs without the right tools. The Birzman Internal Routing Kit is built specifically for this task, giving home mechanics and workshop technicians a reliable way to route brake and derailleur cables cleanly through frames — whether you're building up a new bike in Pune or re-cabling after a monsoon service in Chennai.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Anyone who has spent an afternoon wrestling a cable through an internally routed frame will appreciate what a dedicated routing kit does for the process. The Birzman Internal Routing Kit makes a genuinely tedious job manageable. For Indian riders dealing with frequent cable replacement due to humidity, dust on roads around Hyderabad or Ahmedabad, and monsoon moisture finding its way into frames, having a proper routing tool at home pays off quickly. Precise, practical, and built to Birzman's well-regarded workshop standard.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a workshop tool, so body sizing does not apply. However, frame compatibility matters — verify that the kit's magnets and cable guides suit your frame's internal routing ports and housing diameter before ordering. Most modern road and gravel frames use standard port sizes, but full-suspension mountain bikes and some aero frames may have tighter tolerances. When in doubt, contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for internally routed frames accepting standard brake and derailleur cable housing. Works with both traditional cable systems and electronic wire routing on many frames. Check your frame manufacturer's recommended housing outer diameter before use. Not required for externally routed frames. Suitable for use with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo cable systems. Keep the magnetic components dry and away from fine metal filings.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop setup by pairing this kit with quality cable and housing sets, a precision cable cutter, a torque wrench for final component installation, and cable end crimps to finish the job neatly. A workshop stand makes the entire re-cabling process significantly easier.
