Iride Sport Sunglasses

Indian roads ask a lot of your eyes — blinding afternoon sun on the Delhi-Agra highway, dust clouds on Pune ring roads, sudden shade inside Western Ghats tunnels, and monsoon spray on the Mumbai-Lonavala climb. The Gist Iride Sport Sunglasses is built to handle all of it, offering full-coverage protection in a sport-tuned frame designed for cyclists who ride through real conditions, not just ideal ones. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Polar in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 5,850, the Gist Iride Sport punches above its price bracket for riders who need reliable eye protection across variable Indian light. Whether you're descending from Khandala before sunrise or grinding through Chennai's midday heat, the wide-coverage frame keeps wind, dust, and UV out. Available in polarised and non-polarised variants, it suits both road and trail riders. A practical, well-priced choice for daily training in Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Iride Sport follows a one-size-fits-most adult fit common to European cycling eyewear. Indian riders with narrower or smaller faces should check frame width before ordering. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips allow meaningful customisation, which helps on longer rides in 35°C+ heat when fit pressure becomes noticeable. COD available across India with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.

Compatibility Notes

Designed to sit cleanly under most modern cycling helmets — check temple arm clearance with visored lids. Available in polarised and non-polarised lens options; polarised suits open roads but can reduce screen readability on GPS computers. Clean lenses with a microfibre cloth only — avoid paper towels and chemical sprays that degrade lens coatings over time.

Pairs Well With

Complete your eyewear setup with a well-ventilated road or MTB helmet, a cycling cap for sweat management on long Coorg or Ooty climbs, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth, and a hard-shell carry case to protect lenses during travel or kit-bag storage.
