Jet Two Clip-On Carbon TT Extensions

The Deda Elementi Jet Two Clip-On Carbon TT Extensions transform road bikes into aero machines for time trials and triathlons. Built from high-modulus carbon with adjustable armrests and extension angles, they deliver wind-cheating positioning without the expense of a dedicated TT frameset. Perfect for Indian triathletes tackling flat courses in Lonavala or Pune's early-morning time trials where marginal gains accumulate across 40km efforts.

Our Take

These clip-ons offer proper TT positioning at half the cost of a full aero cockpit. The carbon construction keeps weight down while the adjustable armrests accommodate diverse torso lengths and riding styles. In Indian conditions, they shine on flat circuits and early-morning events where heat forces fast finishes. The secure clamp system handles rough tarmac transitions without slipping, and the compact design fits most drop bars. For weekend warriors chasing PBs or club racers testing TT positioning before committing to a dedicated bike, these extensions deliver measurable aero gains.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Deda's adjustable armrest spacing suits Indian torso proportions well—set narrower for compact positions or wider for comfort over 40km efforts. The extension length and angle adjust to match your flexibility and riding style. In 35°C+ heat, start with a slightly higher armrest position to ease breathing, then lower as fitness improves. Most riders between 160-185cm find optimal positioning within the adjustment range. Verify your drop bar diameter (31.8mm standard) before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for standard 31.8mm drop bars with sufficient flat top section for secure clamping. Compatible with most road brake-shifter setups when mounted behind the hoods. Use torque wrench to specified settings to prevent carbon damage. Clean clamp areas regularly in monsoon conditions to prevent grit accumulation. Pair with aero bar-end shifters for full TT functionality or retain STI levers for training flexibility. Carbon armrests may require padded covers for extended comfort during long triathlon bike legs.

Pairs Well With

Complete your aero setup with Deda carbon aero bars for maximum integration, profile design bottle systems for hydration between the extensions, Fizik Arione saddles with cut-outs for forward-rotated TT positions, and Shimano Ultegra bar-end shifters for clean cable routing. Add aero helmets and skinsuits to compound time savings across your entire position.
