K05ti-rx DISC Brake Pads

Wet monsoon descents through the Western Ghats, stop-start traffic in Pune and Hyderabad, and sustained summer heat above 35°C all demand brake pads that perform consistently. The Shimano K05ti-rx Disc Brake Pads are precision-engineered for mountain bike applications, delivering dependable stopping power and modulation in the conditions Indian riders face every day.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders tackling Lonavala switchbacks or navigating Chennai city traffic in monsoon conditions, braking confidence is non-negotiable. The K05ti-rx pads offer consistent modulation and heat management in exactly these scenarios. At Rs. 940 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is one of the most practical upgrades a mountain or trail rider can make before the next Ghat ride or wet-season weekend outing.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Brake pad fitment is about caliper compatibility, not body size. Confirm your Shimano caliper accepts the K05ti-rx pad shape before ordering. Check whether your setup uses post-mount or flat-mount disc calipers, and verify rotor diameter — 140mm, 160mm, or 180mm — matches your frame and fork specifications. Mismatched pads are the most common fitment error Indian riders make when upgrading.

Compatibility Notes

The K05ti-rx pads are designed for compatible Shimano disc brake calipers on mountain bike systems. Confirm your caliper model accepts this pad type via Shimano's compatibility chart. Rotor surface condition matters — contaminated or scored rotors will reduce pad life significantly. In India's high-humidity monsoon months, inspect pads monthly and bed them in properly after installation for optimal performance.

Pairs Well With

Complete your braking setup with a quality Shimano-compatible disc rotor, mineral oil bleed kit, a torque wrench for precise caliper mounting, and rotor-cleaning spray for pre-ride maintenance in dusty or post-monsoon conditions. These components together ensure the pads perform at their best across every ride.
